Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that the Pony Club Xmas sleepover & fun day to be held on Dec 3rd & Dec 4th is fast approaching us.
Please could members wishing to attend either sleepover or Fun day or both RSVP either to Bec or myself by Monday November 28th, so activities may be finalized.
A number of fun activities will be run Saturday afternoon, followed by dinner, guest speaker Jessica Freeman and watching some horse movies in the Clubrooms – all members are invited to camp over in swags and horse floats (children must have a designated supervisor)!
The Port Augusta Pony Club Christmas Show Fun Day will be run on the Sunday, hacking, mounted games and show jumping events.(as per attached program)
For this weekend to run as smoothly as possible we ask that as many parents/older riders be available to assist with the program for either Saturday or Sunday or both!

Here is a rough program of events:
SATURDAY 3rd of December
3pm Start
Activities during the afternoon, including:
· Achievement Patches – an opportunity for younger riders to earn some patches which can be sewn onto their jumpers. Some of the patches we may be looking at include Bareback, Care of Saddlery, Clipping, Grooming, Show Grooming, Riding & Road Safety. Could all members please let Bec know what patches they already have.
· Show Preparation – older riders and instructors will show the younger members how to properly prepare their horses and ponies for a show, such as plaiting and braiding and cleaning gear. All riders must bring a saddle and bridle with them on Saturday!
· Members feel free to suggest other activities or bring horsey games!
· A special visit from a jolly man in a red suit 
· Dinner
· Sausage sizzle
· Please bring a salad & sweet to share please!
After Dinner
· Guest Speaker Jessica Freeman to share her story on her recent achievements at Werribee.
